Thanks for visiting. I wanted to let you know that the new software 3.o has beeen jailbroken. I am waiting for the final version to be released in a few weeks. I have jailbroken AND unlocked the latest software 2.2.1 I needed to be on 5.08 bootloader because you can not "unlock" 5.09 with a software method (yet) I was also able to downgrade the firmware which is essential to continue using T-Mobile as my carrier of CHOICE! What is the big deal for unlocking the Iphone you may ask...in short, nothing if you live in the USA other than saving over 400 a year on your cellular bill. Lets say you are like a lot of the people I work with who travel and live outside of the USA the option to use your phone and not have a huge international, roaming long distance charge sent to your mailbox is a great reason to unlock and modify your Iphone.
