TSA: iPads and other eReaders don’t need to be removed from bags during security screening

If you travel a lot, you know just how much of a hassle it can be to get through airport security. At many larger airports this means removing your shoes, belt, and sweatshirt, in addition to dealing with crying babies, whining kids, and grumpy passengers, and on top of that, removing your laptop from its bag.
Luckily, for all you iPad owners out there, the TSA has decided that eReaders, including the iPad, do not need to be removed from their respective cases and can be sent through the X-ray machine just like any other article.
